Open space and easy movement. The Sun Way 29’s deck makes the lives of the crew easier with its unobstructed passageways allowing free movement. The rails for the genoa sheet are raised up, and the mainsail track is positioned over the deckhouse, how it is on larger boats.  All the pulleys are in the cockpit.  For even more comfort when moored, the pull-out table can be fixed in the middle of the cockpit.

On the inside, the space is divided into three parts: the square lounge area, the double bow cabin and the stern cabin, a liveable space with six berths, not to forget the spacious bathroom. The stern cabin is a true and very spacious cabin with its own entrance, closet and 1.80m of headroom below the beam.

The L shaped galley includes a basin with teak gunwale surfaces, but most importantly two separate cold storage spaces: a fridge and a freezer.   Storage spaces are everywhere (2 storage cupboards).

The interior planning is bright and clean.

To swim or to get on board, the cockpit opens to the bathing platform. The ladder is removable. All this together contributes to easy manoeuvring and sailing. Legolas is stable and balanced, the large size provides space for the crew to relax, the powerful lines of the hull are synonymous with high speeds and will really shine in club regattas. With 1.80m of headroom below the beam, the Sun Way has all the characteristics of a large cruiser.

The 18h diesel engine, the 28 litre tank and the low fuel consumption guarantee a reserve of power and energy as well as a large, spacious cockpit.

Overall, this is a compact but excellent boat for novices, families and friends.
